Volunteer at SKELL!

Thank you for Volunteering at SKELL.  At South Kitsap Eastern Little League, we couldn't be the league we are without ALL of our Volunteers.  We are here for the players of our league and the future of SKELL.  As a Volunteer we are molding the youth of South Kitsap Eastern Little League.

All of the Volunteers, from League Officials, Managers & Coaches, Team Parents, Concession Workers, Field and Maintenance people, all of our Parents who help with practices and games and everyone who comes to support our players of SKELL, make up the AMAZING league we have.

SKELL AWARD NOMINATION

Every year we send out the nomination link towards the end of May or beginning of June for volunteers to nominate a player and manager  for the season. 

Thank you for taking the time to nominate a player for the SKELL Award, from each division.  Each player is listed per division.   This season we are adding a nomination for a manager to earn the Manager SKELL Award too.  You may select up to two managers, but one will overall be awarded. 

The SKELL Award is based on Sportsmanship.  The SKELL Award is awarded to one player from each Division, an over all SKELL Player and this season a Manager will earn the SKELL Award as well.  The award is voted by the families and volunteers of SKELL and will be awarded during our Closing Ceremony.

The SKELL Award is based on the Little League six principles

Trustworthiness
Respect
Responsibility
Fairness
Caring
Good Citizen
 

This award is not based on talent or popularity, but based on the essential elements of Character Building and Ethics developing great sportsmanship.  These players represent SKELL at their best. 

These players show respect towards their Manager, Coaches, Umpires, teammates, opposing teams and any parent or official at SKELL and other fields as well.   

One nomination per division can be made

The Awards will be given during our Closing Ceremony
