Website Manager

Thank you for being your team's Team Parent

The team parent is the point of contact, other than the manager, from the board to the parents on the team.  Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing information to the parents, helping the manager with the games (helping things go smooth in the dugout), organize forms that need to be given out,  organizing treat tickets (if desired by team), getting uniforms out, making sure there are enough volunteers for the designated concession dates for the team to work, and organizing the end of the year party for the team.  The team parent can work with other parents on the team to help to keep things running smoothly.

Little League Iron on Patch

Brittany's instructions on reapplying the Iron On Patch:

It's really easy!

  1. Turn your iron on as hot as possible
  2. In between the iron and the jersey/patch, put a wash cloth or kitchen towel down, before you re-iron on the patch.  (the towel will keep the iron from melting the jersey)
  3. Press down on the iron and hold for about 45-60 seconds, possibly longer (slightly move the iron around as you press down, so you don't create an iron imprint on the jersey)
  4. Flip the sleeve inside out and repeat the prior step (make sure you still keep the towel/cloth in between the iron and jersey)
  5. Remove the iron and press firmly with your thumbs on the patch, pressing the edges to melt the glue into the jersey, while it is inside out. (be careful to not burn your thumbs.  Yeah, I've got little feeling on the pads of my thumbs now, lol)
  6. Repeat the steps above if the corners of the patch are not secure to the jersey.

**Any time you need to iron on the patch, KEEP a cloth in between the jersey and iron**

End of Season

End of season team party
If your team is interested in having your TEAM PARTY at SKELL, please let the level GM, Kent or Brittany know.
SKELL is a great facility to host the party!  Plus, you don't need to worry about paying any additional charges for a facility.   Lots of fun having a game, parents vs kids.
You do not have to have your end of season party at SKELL, but it always is an option. Don't wait to schedule your team party.

End of season team gifts
Tee Ball and Coach Pitch teams
It is encouraged for the players to receive a trophy or medal at the end of the season.

Minor, Major, Junior and Senior teams
There are many different options, besides a trophy or medal at this age. Many teams have made team t-shirts or sweatshirts. Some have created player baseball card or posters. Some teams have had players sign a baseball or small team bat.

Managers and/or Coaches
Some suggestions for the team manager and coach gift.  Use a team picture and have the players sign the frame. Players can sign a baseball for the coach. Some teams have created a team shirt for the manager or coach. A gift card to the manager/coaches favorite restaurant or sports store.

No matter what your do for the end of season team gift, please have everyone on the team contribute with the cost of the items.
